“I was attracted to come to Dundee by the breadth of high quality research being carried out under one roof. This has allowed my group to investigate the impact of mRNA capping in cancer, immunology, tropical medicine and developmental biology – to recognise the unknown unknowns!  The translational focus in Dundee is important to me – the advice from the Dundee Drug Discovery Unit and extensive collaborations with pharmaceutical companies keeps our research directly relevant to the latest advances in medicine.” What I enjoy about Dundee.  Lots of beaches, not much traffic, local gin distilleries.
