JCS to Highlight Lamond Group Paper February 3, 2014 The Centre for Gene Regulation and Expression is pleased to announce that the upcoming Journal of Cell Science has chosen a paper from Angus Lamond’s group for its “In This Issue” feature. The paper, “A role for the Cajal-body-associated SUMO isopeptidase USPL1 in snRNA transcription mediated by RNA polymerase II,” will be highlighted in the special feature under the headline “Key role for USPL1 in snRNA transcription.” The study was a collaboration between Professor Lamond’s lab and the group of Frauke Melchior in Heidelberg.
