On the 11th of April 2013, GRE PhD students and postdocs, for the first time, will be hosting a GRE seminar. This year’s talk will be presented by Dr. Grant Stewart of the University of Birmingham. Dr. Stewart and his group are interested in studying the contribution of DNA damage into the development of human disease and cancer. His talk, entitled “Ubiquitin-dependent regulation of the DNA damage response induced by replication stress”, will be held in the WTB seminar room at 4 pm. This event will be complemented by PhD students and postdocs meeting and discussing their work with Dr. Grant Stewart during the day and an informal dinner in the evening.
