GRE Centre PI Retreat July 2, 2012 The GRE Centre Summer PI retreat was held on Wed 13 June 2012 at The Lands of Loyal Hotel, Alyth, Blairgowrie. Angus Lamond, Julian Blow, Mike Stark, Jason Swedlow, Anton Gartner, Liz Bayne, Eric Griffis, Sonia Rocha, Tom Owen-Hughes and Ron Hay attended the retreat which gives PIs the opportunity to get away to discuss their research and the strategic vision for the Centre. Vicky Cowling of the Division of Cell Signalling was an invited guest and Tim Newman the invited guest speaker. The day started with a GRE PI Management Meeting, then talks by PIs the rest of the day, finishing with dinner at the hotel in the evening. The next GRE PI retreat is on Friday 7 December 2012.
