Gartner Lab Postdoc Awarded Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellowship July 20, 2012 The Wellcome Trust has awarded the University of Dundee a Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellowship for Dr. Vikram Narayan (Gartner Group) for his research “Delineating the ageing proteome: Convergence of aging pathways in Caenorhabditis.” The Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellowships are highly prestigious awards of £250,000 paying for the researchers salary and research expenses over a four-year period. Professor Lamond Head of the GRE centre said, “I am delighted that Vikram has received this highly-competitive award, and that once again the Wellcome Trust recognises and supports the quality of research being carried out at the centre, at all research career levels. I look forward to Vikram’scontinuing contributions to the centre over the next four years.”
