Our Foreign Skies: GRE Photography Exhibition inaugurates Mills’ Observatory Summer Exhibition programme August 7, 2014 Our Foreign Skies: Photography Exhibition at the Mills Observatory August and September 2014 This is the first Summer Exhibition to be held by the Observatory allowing this iconic building to remain open during the summer months when it’s too light for star-gazing. GRE is delighted to show our work in a venue popular with the local Dundee community and the project is a first in a series of collaborations between Life Sciences at the University of Dundee and the Mills Observatory focused on ‘ways of seeing’ the full scale of the known Universe. This new venue provides us with the opportunity to foster interactions between members of the public and our life scientists through a shared vision of Dundee. A reception to mark this Summer’s collaboration will be held on Friday 29 August 2014 at 6:30pm at the Mills Observatory. All GRE staff and students are invited.
