External Examiner Prof Peter Ratcliffe FRS from the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine in Oxford.
Sonia had this to say about her former student: “Andrew was a very dedicated, talented and technically gifted student, it was always great fun having him in the lab. He took on a very risky and challenging project, attempting to connect hypoxia and chromatin. I am very proud of Andrew’s defense in his viva and am sure he will have great success in his future.”
